Privacy Policy
Effective September 23, 2026
6 Months is a habit tracker: up to three goals a day, one day at a time. This policy says what the app stores, where, and what you can do about it. The short version: your goals and progress live on your phone. If you choose to sign in, a copy is kept as a backup. We don't sell data, show ads, or track you.
On your phone
Your goals, daily progress, runs, reminder times, appearance and the backdrop photo you pick are stored on your device, shared only with the app's own widgets and Live Activity. Deleting the app deletes them. Your device's own iCloud or computer backup may include them, as it does for any app.
If you sign in (optional)
Signing in with Apple backs up your runs so a new phone or a reinstall can restore them. We then store:
- An account identifier from Apple, and the email Apple gives us (which can be a private relay address if you chose "Hide My Email").
- Your runs: goal names and amounts, each day's progress, start date, length and bedtime.
This is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and is readable only by your account. It is used only to back up and sync your runs.
Community (optional)
If you turn on sharing in the Community tab, a card with your numbers only (streak, day, number of goals, how many are done today) is shown to other people under a random ID. No name, email or goal text is shared. Turning sharing off stops updating it; deleting your account removes it.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details; the app only learns whether you have an active plan. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad tracking, no selling or sharing of data with data brokers.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No health, location or contacts data.
- Reminders are scheduled on your phone; nothing about them is sent to us.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings ▸ Account ▸ Delete account erases your account and backup from our servers and revokes the app's Sign in with Apple access. Runs on your phone stay until you delete the app. You can also email us and we will delete it for you.
Children
6 Months is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
